Description

The Depot Market | Courtland, Kansas
A Family Tradition of Farming

At The Depot Market, we’ve been serving the Courtland and Scandia, KS communities since 1979. Our family’s farming legacy stretches across generations, and we take pride in providing fresh, locally grown produce to our customers. From tomatoes and zucchinis to cantaloupe and honeydew melons, we offer a wide variety of high-quality fruits and vegetables grown right here in the heart of the Republican River Valley.

Wholesale and Retail Produce

We grow vegetables for both wholesale and retail sales, ensuring that our products reach homes and businesses across the region. Some of our most popular crops include peppers, cucumbers, yellow squash, and a variety of melons, all grown with care and harvested at their peak freshness. Whether you’re looking to stock your restaurant, local store, or fill your own pantry, we’ve got the produce you need.

Specialty Pumpkins & Winter Squash

In addition to our everyday vegetables, we specialize in growing 40 different kinds of pumpkins, ranging from tiny mini pumpkins to those big enough to make a doghouse! These pumpkins, along with our unique winter squash varieties, make for perfect seasonal décor, delicious recipes, and fun family activities. Our pumpkins are a favorite for fall festivals and decorations, and we make sure every one is grown with care for the best quality.

Visit Our Historic Depot Market

Our farm stand operates in Courtland’s historic 120-year-old Santa Fe Depot, a building with its own rich history. While you can’t buy a ticket to Denver here, you can pick up the freshest local produce, specialty pumpkins, and more! We love collaborating with other small businesses to enhance the shopping experience, and we’re always working to provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
