Hunting Outfitter Internship – Summer 2025

Gain Hands-On Experience with a Premier Hunting Outfitter

Heartland Gamebirds, a leading hunting outfitter in North Central Kansas, is offering a paid summer internship in partnership with Nex-Generation Round Up for Youth. This hands-on role provides an opportunity to be part of a successful gamebird operation specializing in guided pheasant hunts, land management, and outdoor hospitality.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily ranch operations and gamebird management

• Work alongside experienced guides and trained hunting dogs

• Help maintain hunting grounds and prepare for guided hunts

• Operate or learn to operate various equipment

• Support guest services, lodging, and meal preparations

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a high school or college-age student who is:

• Motivated to learn and take on new challenges

• Comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment

• Strong in communication and teamwork

• Interested in hunting, conservation, and agriculture

Internship Details

• Dates: June – August 25

• Hours: 30-40 per week

• Pay: $12-$16 per hour

• Location: Courtland, KS
