Republic County is home to world class hunting, racing , and some of the friendliest communities in the mid-west. The Pawnee Indian Museum, Boyer Museum of Animated Carvings, and Belleville Post Office Mural were featured on the “8 Wonders of Kansas” website hosted by the Kansas Sampler Foundation.

The Cuba Rock-A-Thon is a tradition that has been celebrated for over 30 years in Cuba, Kansas. This event features continuous rocking in rocking chairs, operating 24 hours a day for an entire week.
As an annual community fundraiser, the Rock-A-Thon also offers Czech foods, local entertainment, a benefit auction, craft displays, and more. It takes place on the third weekend of March at the Cuba Community Hall located on Main Street.
The event is sponsored by the Cuba Booster Club.

The North Central Kansas (NCK) Free Fair in Belleville, KS, offers FREE admission and something for everyone.
